About Me

     Here's a page for those who want to know more about me personally. I won't go into too much detail of course. FoxZero has been my online alias since the early 2000's. I've used it in many online games back then. At that time I had only small ambitions but I had lots of ideas including System Failure. Over the years the alias just stuck with me. I didn't venture into game design until 2003 when I purchased 3D GameStudio A6. It was quite some time before I really got anywhere with it.
     I didn't really recognize my love of writing until early 2005. Towards the end of the school year I wrote the short story Unwanted Ancestry for a school reading project. I went above and beyond the requirements and I really enjoyed writing it. That year I won the "Creative Writer of the Year" award. With plenty of motivation I started System Failure: Revenge in August 2005.
     I got into song writing in late 2004, but it would be a long time before I recorded anything even with a web mic. In late 2005 a friend and I started a band called Why the Fable?. We played one open mic and it went downhill from there. However I did write quite a few unique songs with them and recorded a few with a web mic.
     There's some brief history on how my talents began. As you can see my creative hobbies didn't really begin until a few years ago. I have yet to really create anything truly impressive, but I believe I'm on the path of creating something really amazing either for myself or the rest of the world. You can see my creations unfold on this site.

The Alias FoxZero

    I get this question a lot, "How did you come up with the name FoxZero?" The answer is usually, "I've just used it for so long." It actually spawned from the protagonist Fox in my story System Failure.Yeah that idea is pretty old and probably still one of my best. I simply took the name of my coolest protagonist and added Zero to make it my own alias. I really hadn't put that much thought into it, but I just stuck with it and a number of people thought it was cool. A number of people use this alias, some as long as I have, but I now intend to use for commercial purposes and it's the alias I use to build my reputation. I go by quite a number of nicknames and some are far more abstract than this name, but online I'm simply known as FoxZero and I'm easy to find.
