12/7/08 - I hope you guys have been noticing the new changes to the site! The more recent changes are most noticeable. I’m trying to make everything as easy to read as possible, and well as make the site more presentable. Organization is key too and that is still being improved.

Most noticeable addition so far is the all new FoxProse page. It is a new section that contains nonfiction articles about various interests of mine. Much of its content is still in the works but more info is available on the FoxProse page. The literature page will now exclusively have nonfiction writings. Hopefully it will become a large portion of this site many can enjoy.

My band Wolf-Hybrid is pleased to announce that we are working on a 10 track demo that we will be handing out for free. It will also be available online for free download. We are mainly doing this to build up a following prior to the release of the EP we are working on afterwards. Plus we hope it attracts capable musicians to fill our incomplete roster. Once it’s released you can greatly help us out by downloading the songs, burning them onto CDs, and then giving them to friends. We won’t sue you, we’re not M-tallica. Just help us spread the word and get people to come to our shows! We don’t have a name for ourselves yet so any help is significant!

Our Trail of Blood development team still needs people as well. We are greatly in need of experienced programmers and modelers. Even if you just want to help us prototype that would really help us. We are still working out various concepts and ideas and I am personally working through the plot and script. We will possibly have more concept art on display at the official site in the near future.

And lastly since I am not playing too many videos games right now after I get some articles done for FoxProse I’ll work on finishing up some short stories. If 2-3 page stories entice people maybe I’ll do more of them as they can be fun, just check the super short one I did already. I’ll be writing more now but after I get Resistance 2 expect me to disappear for a while ha ha! - FZ

9/8/08 - Hello all! I started adding more content to this site again. I added a new short story in the literature section. I mean it’s short! It’s less than two pages! It takes place in another sci-fi universe of mine called Rage Planet. Hopefully in the near futures you will see more literature and games that take place in this new and exciting universe. For now enjoy this exciting teaser.

I’m focusing now on this site by adding mainly more entertaining content. I want viewers of this site to have many things to read, download, listen, and play. Of course more content requires more projects which require more time. My life is still very hectic and I am trying to fit more room for projects. As I get my life gets better organized you’ll see more additions to this site. The links page is still under work as I want it to be very well done as I am showing you sites and people I admire, I should do them justice. The Music page is going to have yet another makeover and the actual music will be played from a third party player.

The biggest developments lately have been with my game Trail of Blood, which I’ve been getting a lot of questions about. I have formed a new development team, but we’re still shy quite a few members. If you’re an experienced developer there is a website about the game geared towards developers at http://trailofblood.foxzero.net. A good bit of info is there but more is only available upon request. I’ve been working nonstop on the game for the past several months, mainly on the writing aspect of things. The story is shaping up nicely. Maybe we’ll have something presentable in the near future.

Things with Wolf-Hybrid are going slow. We are once again looking for a new lead guitarist (must have a 7 string) and a new bassist. This is slowing down the EP terribly. We’re still writing so maybe we’ll do some demos just for the hell of it and get our new sound out there. We’ve changed over the years but the agenda is still the same. We’re still badly itching for some live shows so maybe we’ll do some with an incomplete roster. I can’t confirm anything as of right now.

That’s all for now. Keep checking for new content as this sight is once again going through some changes and maturity. Thanks for reading -FZ

7/14/08 - Here’s the second update for the year. Most developments lately have been with my band. Our show for last June 14th had to be canceled and I apologize for that, but the other bands still came and it was a great show! We’re working with some new members now and once they’re broken in we’ll return to working on the EP!

I have started rebuilding the world in which my novel is taking place. I’m referring to System Failure: Revenge. The name of the book itself is still the same, Revenge, but the universe is now called End Weapon Theory. So the whole name of the novel will be titled End Weapon Theory: Revenge. The universe is also expanding to include my game Trail of Blood, but it will not receive a title change. The name change was primarily due to a change in emphasis on the theme, and obviously it’s more about weapons now than it is government. Sadly it was from the beginning but that is not the emphasis of Revenge. Obviously since TOB and Revenge are 1100 years apart there’s history in between in which I can add to.

The latest new development has to do with my game Trail of Blood. I’m reforming the team and I’m shifting my job to music and level design. We’re looking for a lead programmer and modelers right now. If interested you used know how to contact me. Experience is required.

There’s a lot going on right now and I’ll try to update as things unfold. My projects seem to be going in more productive directions so you should see more from me soon. -FZ

4/22/08 - Hello all! Unfortunately this is my first update of the year. I haven’t updated because I’m not going to talk about how school consumes all my free time. Any ways there have been some serious developments in the past few weeks. Over the months I have accumulted a lot of gear. I sold my POD and I’m recording with a new have stack and soon a full stack! I’ve got a few recordings of it I’m going to upload shortly. I’ve also got many new analog FX pedals as well as some new mics.

There have been minor developments with my game design. I started a new project with RPG Maker XP that I’ll be working on with a friend. More on that as it develops. Trail of Blood isn’t going to resume until this summer when our programmer is free. We’ll probably be switching over to a more powerful engine as well.

The big news is about my band Wolf-Hybrid. We’ve had a complete roster few quite some time and at last we have a new demo! The big news though is about the EP we just announced called A New Breed on the Front! It’s due to release latter this year. You’ve decided to do this EP because our main debut album, The Vindictive, is going to take more time than we thought. We thought we give you a taste of our chaotic new sound.

Lastly Wolf-Hybrid has a show coming up in mid June! Our first ever! I’ll provide more info as a get. So far several other great bands are going to be there and it’s going to be loads of fun!

I’ll keep yous posted on these new developments for sure! Oh and to all you care there are new flash games on the games page. Go kill some time. -FZ

12/6/07 - I finally got around to an update. I’ve been sick this past week so nothings getting done the is week. My focus lately has mainly been on plot development for Trail of Blood and I’m still writing down ideas for short stories I’ll get on here sometime. The development for TOB has never gone smoothly but we’re getting some great ideas out. Since some inspiration has been hitting me lately I’ve got some interesting short stories I’m going to do to strengthen my writing skills.

As far as music goes I’ve gotten a lot of new ideas and quite a few clips in the making. I’m getting into the technical polyrhythmic territory and it’s quite a challenge. The seven string guitar has really altered my style and you’ll notice the extended range and much lower tuning. I’ll post some clips as soon as I have something solid ready. I’m really happy how things have been coming along with them.

Finally for all you guy looking for more time wasters I’m adding more of my favorite flash games to the games page as I find them. Some good ones up right now with some depth! Some have even taken me a few hours to beat and I really appreciate the sites letting me use them. I’ve also removed any games that weren’t working properly. From this point on I’ll will try to continuously add them.

Oh yeah, about the Podcasts. Still waiting for the word of the co-host I want so it won’t come ‘till later!

That’s all for now! I’ll update again in a few weeks since a lot is going on right now! -FZ

10/6/07 - Hello all! I hope this update didn’t take too long. Well, it’s been another chill summer for me (which is not a bad thing), but I managed to get my job back and I finally have a seven string guitar! It goes nicely with my six string bass. I’ll out all the pictures and info I got on it on the music page. I have some killer clips of it that I’ve been working on that will be on the music page soon. I’m not recording my six string bass right now as I hate the bass amp I’m playing out of (and for those interested it is for sale).

As far as my music projects go I am looking to revise Why the Fable? as a recording project only. Anybody interested in the project should shoot me an email at foxzero@foxzero.net. It’s been a bit simplified but it’s still primarily a fusion of smooth jazz and metal. It’s not meant to be completely groundbreaking and new, it’s just supposed to be fun in the studio and for me and everyone else to expand their musical creativity and break the boundaries between genres.

I’m also planning on bringing back my podcasts and RSS channel, this time with an actual co-host and discussions. I plan on it being around an hour long filled with discussions on music, gear, what’s going on in the Philly suburbs, video games, independent development, and whatever we can fit in. It’s still unclear on how this is going to turn out and who the co-host will be, however I do have a catchy name for it, Zeradio. I’ll have more info next month on this new project.

Now that my inspiration has returned you should see plenty of new content coming your way (mainly on the music page for now).Check back as I always update when there is exciting news to share. That’s all I have for now! -FZ

6/26/07 - Sorry for such a delay on an official update, but the last few months of the school year aren’t fun and I haven’t had time for much other than Wolf-Hybrid’s demo. About that, the demo was released on the 15th on June as scheduled, however on four of the five tracks we wanted on it were completed in time. To make up for that we included three additional tracks of stuff we have been working on. Some of the completed tracks had some rushed mixing, but overall were pretty satisfied with it and distributed it for free at our school. Most of the tracks are available for free download on our myspace at http://www.myspace.com/wolfhybridband. Things are getting pretty intense with Wolf-Hybrid and you can get updates of my band at wolf-hybrid.net.

I’ve got a big announcement for you all! The Trail of Blood PC shooter project has resumed production! A lot of people have told me that they had assumed it was canceled. This was never true! The team had agreed to delay things until summer when our lives cooled off a bit. the site http://trailofblood.foxzero.net will have all the updates and info on this massive project so check it out when you get a chance.

Lastly I’d like to announce that I’ll be taking up a few new hobbies this summer I’ll like be adding a few new sections to this site! I’ll update more on this later. Right now I’m in the process of adding more pictures and content to the current pages and finishing up the incomplete pages not that some time has presented itself to me. Some nice new wallpapers will be up soon in the Free Stuff section. Check back soon!

3/28/07 - Hello all! How’s everyone liking the redesigned layout? I finally got NetObjects Fusion 8 working on my new computer and it works great. My site now displays correctly in all browsers. Since I’m using a new program some features on this site I’m still trying to reintegrate so be patient. Also all the banners are being redone and not all are complete at this moment. I went through a little uncreative streak for a while partly do to stress and sickness so I held off an update until and could get the site redone. Now that I’m back on track you can look forward to more content and updates very soon!
Among the additions to this site are some new pics and some cool new tunes on the Music page. The new tunes very from some midi experiments, background music for Trail of Blood, and some stuff I’m not sure what to do with. I’ll update and add songs continuesly for a while since I’m working on quite a few at the moment. New pictures of my equipment and musical instruments are being added too.
Since site activity has increased quite a bit I’ve started adding more entertainment for bored casual visitors by adding more flash games and I’ve added a new section to the Literature page, Random Writing. This is a collection of unused or unfinished writings that I’m unsure of what to do with.

1/3/07 - Happy (late) New Year everyone! Sorry for such a long wait on an update. I've got some goodies for ya and some goodies I'm preparing right now. I would have updated over break but I fell sick and didn't get much done. There's still plenty to see!

First up music. I have purchased the DFH Superior which  should help me since I can't play drums real late at night. There's two new  tracks for your listening pleasure on the music page. The first one is  Waste. It's a fairly short idea that popped into my mind one night and I  thought I should share. I'll fix it up later. The second is far better and  pretty sweat. It's a preview of the finale re-record of Rampage, renamed Malice. It features A sweater guitar tone with a wah-wah, drums, and bass! Vocals coming soon!

Trail of Blood is starting to move along and our team is complete. Although technically still in its concept stage we may have some  visual presentations soon. The website will be back up shortly with all the details. If you're not familiar with this project there's still a brief description and some old screen on the 3D GameStudio page.

I'll have some updates on the literiture page soon. Just not enough time for me to get my head clear enough to do some serious writing. There's some old stuff that you might find entertaining that'll post soon. Unfortunately I only have it printed but not saved so I'll have to retype some of these short stories.

Lastly wolf-hybrid.net is up! It's my band site and it's just a template background since we're still having issues with software.  There's simply contact information and a few pictures, but we're preparing a  lot of stuff! One of the biggest things that will also be on this site is a full album preview which is a fairly long sample of every song on our W.I.P. album The Vindictive. Previews will be posted as I get them recorded but I guarentee you you'll want more! All the complete songs will be on our  SoundClick page at soundclick.com/wolfhybrid and our best ones will be on ourmyspace.

There's a lot of stuff on the way so be prepared! Remember you feedback is always welcome on the message board positive or negative.  Have a happy new year!

11/11/06 - Hopefully most of you have noticed the content I've been continuously adding since the last update. For starters there's a new home page banner that sums up the site way better. Lately I've been fixing up the visual issues with the site. Since I don't really have time to code every bit of html code I usually let FrontPage generate it and live with its problem. Recently I've been going back and fixing FrontPage's mistakes. I'm now going to fix the display issues with these layers, which means I'll probably replace them with tables.

Onto the more exciting content. Trail of Blood has been brought back to its concept stage. Don't worry this is a good thing. The team is back together and we're going to plan every inch of this game out so things can progress smoothly without serious delays. Unfortunately once again due to some serious issues with NetObjects (my other website program) the TOB site has been accidentally... turned blank. The reason is unknown. NetObjects must have just really messed up when it uploaded the site. Luckily the site has been backed up onto my hard drive. Until then I'll put updates on the 3D GameStudio page.

A new song has been put up on the music page. It's not the alt rock song I mentioned in the last update. It's fairly heavy, but there's real melodic lead parts over it. Definitely check it out if you're into alt metal or crossover metal (too many sub genres!). My new guitar needs some serious adjustments so that needs to be taken care of before I can record anymore. I'll update the new song and add a few more I've been working on as soon as possible. There's some new pictures on the music page and I'll add more once I learn to hold the digital camera steady!

I finally added something to the literature page. A short story I just wrote for school has been uploaded. It's pretty interesting but not one of my better ideas. I had to keep it short so it's a little rushed. I'll also add another interesting short story of the same length that I wrote a few years back when I get the chance.

And lastly, there's a new "About Me" page and Top News Headlines added below. The new page is still under construction but it tells a little bit about how I got into what I do. It will eventually tell more about me personally but nothing that is completely unrelated to my projects. This site's about my projects, not me necessarily. The News headlines are here to make this site a more useful home page and to keep you tuned into what's goin on in this world.

That's all for now. I'll continue to add content and fix up the problems wit this site so check back often!

10/17/06 - Hey all. I've been pretty busy lately and I somehow lost time for this sight. Well, I had some free time today and I finally got around to an update. There have been some additions since the last update, but not many.

I've have been working hard with my band lately trying to get rehearsals and songs recorded. For those of you who know my crazy band Why the Fable? we have happily changed our name to Wolf-Hybrid and are no longer doing the crazy jazz/funk/rap/metal. It's straight up metal with jazz/blues bass lines, raging thrash and metal guitars, alternative rock vocals, and straight forward rock, metal, and thrash beats to keep things flowing. We're almost an entirely new band since we only kept one of our songs. I'll save our old stuff for my solo album. We have a website, wolf-hybrid.net but do to software issues (I'm using NetObjects for that site not FrontPage) I can't get it up. You can still check us out on myspace, myspace.com/wolfhybridband, and check out my myspace while you're at it, myspace.com/foxzerosmusic. Leave us some comments if you like.

More on music I've added some new tunes I've recently recorded and a single oldie. I'm working on an unnamed song right now that I will put up here for free download once I get a good bit with vocals recorded. Oh yeah, I was to reveal my new guitar, it's the B.C. Rich Special Edition Evil Edge Mockingbird. I've recorded some stuff already with it using my new POD xt Live. It's a pretty sweat guitar. I'll have some pictures of it up soon.

I've added a bunch of action packed flash games to the 'games' page. They are pretty awesome compared to the old boring ones (except black jack). Check them out. I got them from other sites, I'm still looking for ones I like so if anybody can send me links to free web games I can use on my it would be greatly appreciated. You can also send me them on the forums. I'm also changing most of the graphics, the home banner is starting to scare my family members. I won't take off that picture I'll just add some pictures of me playing guitar so it doesn't stand out as much.

Trail of Blood has seen little progress. We are once again without a programmer. The website trailofblood.foxzero.net is finally gong to be updated with some more cool concept art from other artists and now only the best concept art will go up. That's all for now. Keep checking back for new content!

9/2/06 - Well, alot of things have been keeping this update from happening sooner. Serious system issues with my new computer almost ruined everything and of course some wireless issues. That's all been taken care of and I've been steadily upgrading the site. Some of you may have noticed the new graphics on the site hopefully. I'm still toying around with the banners and buttons so nothing is finalized yet. The part of this site that has had the biggest addition this month is the music page. An entirely new equipment and instruments section has been added. You can now check out lots of pictures and descriptions of the musical equipment I use. Much more content is to be added to this new section so keep checking up on it!

Speaking of musical equipment I have a number of cool things on the way for me to use including a POD XT Live, more equipment for recording drums, and a sweet new guitar! I'll wait until it arrives before I unveil it. I'll be holding off recording until this new equipment arrives because I'm sick of the cheap pickups and the freeware amp emulator I'm using. The wait will be worth it because I won't just be recording jams anymore but entire songs and song ideas with guitar, bass, drums, and vocals! I'll be sure to put plenty of pictures and the like on the music page of course!

My game Trail of Blood could not be worked on with a computer that was locking up every five minutes but after the system recovery I did resume it immediately. I have begun work on the human characters of the game as well as some of the environments. I'm trying out new software like Blender for high ploy applications. This game will be trying to compare with mainstream games on the market so high poly counts and textures resolutions will be necessary, but don't worry of your computer is somewhat out of date because the game won't be geared towards top of the line computers. You can still check out the games official site http://trailofblood.foxzero.net/. It will be updated shortly with new content.

My novel System Failure: Revenge has it's first chapter almost complete. The first three chapters will be available online for free for a short time once they've been edited and other writers have picked them apart. That's all for now. Check back soon for more updates and content.

8/9/06 - Sorry for the long wait everybody but I have finally got around to the update. A lot has happened in the past month or so and most of which will benefit the site. The big delay is mostly do to the fact that I finally got a new computer! I also now work at a new area and during the relocation the disk with FrontPage on it got misplaced, so that's why I took so long. I also got two new Audio-Technica condernser mics and an AKG kick mic for recording drums and vocals. I also got a virtual synthesizer and a bunch of new VST plugins for Cubase. Unfortunately for the musical side for things my guitar's electronics gave out completely along with my Behringer practice amp. So I'm unable to record any guitar right now. I may put up some cool slap bass jams. Oh yeah, I got my mixer replaced finally and it works great!

I'm still trying to add new features to this site. I was thinking of podcasting sites news updates and my own reviews in the form of an RSS feed. The big thing I am thinking of adding to this site is international news headlines and articles provided by Associated Press. They would be on the home page and only five would be available at a time. It wouldn't take up much room so those disinterested in international news can easily overlook it. You can email me or make any suggestions on new features on the message board but the biggest way you can help me is by taking these two new surveys so I can get a general idea of what people want and what they think of my site. Please take some time on the Content Survey and tell me what you think of the general site on the Satisfaction Survey.

The Trail of Blood prototype website is up. There really isn't anything to show at the moment and if you are going to check it out keep in mind all I'm focusing on right now is the content, graphics will come later. I won't take critiques or comments on the site right now but I will take suggestions on the site. The link is http://trailofblood.foxzero.net/. I don't plan on getting a completely new domain for this game because it isn't necessary.

Well, take those surveys and prepare for some new content and possibly some cool new features real soon!

6/22/06 - Sorry all I haven't been around for a while. I just got back from vacation at the Jersey shore. It's good to back and I finally have some content for the site. At last I started putting info on my novel System Failure: Revenge. I will put up more as soon as possible.

Upon my return I started immediately working on Trail of Blood. Unfortunately the lead programmer and the 2D artist have left for the summer. I guess you'll only be seeing visual applications of the game. My coding skills can't quite handle this game. The site was nearly completed but it seriously lacks in content. There was just no point in putting it up. I will admit it was rushed. however, the work in progress may appear online soon, but don't expect anything special at the moment.

My mixing board turned out to be defective. It's already been returned and I'll be getting a replacement this week. I'll be ordering some nice condenser mics soon then I'll be able to record some drums. I've got some new free tunes that have already been recorded but defects in the mixer really screwed things up. New tunes will now have bass and vocals but you'll have to wait for drums.

I've revived some old 3DGS projects that I might put up on the site. Just some fun stuff to play with. I might just give away all my old projects if they're decent enough. If you want you can ask me about them on the forums.

That's all for now. Sorry you had to wait so long for an update. Things should cool down for me now that it's summer.

5/22/06 - I got plenty of good news for you all. I have assembled a small team of excellent game designers to create Trail of Blood, my first priority project. It has been my desire to start a team for months but I never quite got around to it until now. I am basically in the same position I was before except I am no longer the lead programmer. A lot of people are happy now that I am no longer doing all the work (they feared the game would fail, no fear for my stress). I can assure everyone that progression on the game will move smoothly now.

This Saturday I will put up the sub-site trailofblood.foxzero.net. I will put up concept art and the completed models I have. Some screens of the game will remain on this but the information regarding the game can be found on the official site of the game. I'm still not revealing much on the game. I'll answer any simple questions regarding the game play and environment on the forums.

Also on Saturday I'll be working on this site too. I'll be making various improvements such as refining and replacing graphics, adding content, providing more information, and I may add new sections. New content may include more of my old 3DGS projects and some of the new songs I'm recording. I know I haven't put much information up yet about my novel but I am about halfway through the first chapter and feedback has been great so far. I will do my best to get samples up before Saturday. If you have any suggestions of what I should add that day post them on the forums, also any feedback on the site will be greatly appreciated!

Enjoy the new content I put up and check back Saturday for more! Don't forget to check out trailofblood.foxzero.net once it's up. You'll find it was worth the wait!

5/14/06 - Good news everybody! I finally got a mixing board! It's a sweet Yamaha MW12 Mixing Studio. I already started recording all kinds of stuff to put on the music page. Enjoy some new free tunes!

Well... work on Trail of Blood has been rather slow lately. I was going to try and put together a test demo for the design team and anybody else who was interested, but being that this weekend was mothers day I was rather busy.

The Weapon Package is coming along. I should have some samples up soon. Just need to make some skins!

4/30/06 - I have recently updated the content of this website but last week I decided to take it easy. Yes, believe it or not work on the computer can be very frustrating sometimes, especially when your computer is in serious need of reformatting. Anyways on to the important stuff. My "Trail of Blood" project has officially resumed. I put it aside until I had the Commercial upgrade to my 3D GameStudio engine. Now that I have it I will start to work towards a demo of some sort. So you'll all have that to look forward to.

Feedback on the site has been pretty good. I still need to do a lot of work on it. Samples of my novel WIP "System Failure: Revenge" will be put up on the literature page. More wallpapers and other free stuff are being prepared. I still have a lot of 3DGS projects not put up. It may be a while before more music is put up. I still need to buy a new mixing board but my money is extremely tight right now. I am also thinking of adding a page about cars to the site, but I want to fix up the other first. If you have any questions about this idea I've been throwing around ask in on the forums.
