I finally wrote my first political song! I wrote the music for it as well, which is great since it's been over a year since I wrote a complete song. I can't say it's 100% complete but when I sing it out loud it flows quite smoothly. This one is about how the ancient two party system is tearing apart our nation. If you don't agree just don't read it ok?
Fuck the liberals Fuck the conservatives They know not compromise They know much prejudice They stand in way of our nation’s future They live in the shadow of a brutal past Conciliation is too hard for them Change is euphemism for their fucking war Someone has to rise to compromise Something has to strive to stay alive Somehow we have to face our changing race Sometime we’ll have to feed our fucking needs We’ve given in to believe that they’ve sealed themselves in Have we ever tried to deprive them of their thrones? I thought this was a nation of the people for the people Why can’t I hear your fucking voice?
