Well this has been true for a while now, but in the back of my mind I always thought I'd be playing sometime soon. This is the reason I've never mentioned this to anyone. My financial situation has always made it difficult to play, but I always tried regardless. While the financial burden was one I could handle, the medical issues I have actually make it a risk to play as well as deprive it of any fun.
I've had exercise induced asthma for a long time, long before I started playing paintball, but my last game really required me to move. Even short sprints drain me, and I do my best to keep in shape. The asthma wasn't even the worst of it. Due to issues with my head I cannot sustain impacts to it, so my doctor has advised that I refrain from playing contact sports. I learned early on that head shots were particularly bad for my health, so I thought a full head mask would fix all my problems. I was dead wrong. At my last game I tripped and bumped my chin. Just this minor impact was enough to take me out for about an hour. To confirm that I am quitting I have finally given in and started selling my precious gear. Up until recently I was planning on selling my A-5 and getting T-9 rifle, but now I'm selling it for good. This is really a huge bummer for me because there's not a whole lot of intense stuff for me to do outside because of my health problem. When I get more money I plan on taking up trap shooting as a competitive replacement, and maybe someday I'll be able to afford to do practical shooting. In the meantime I'm just plinking with my rifle which is extremely relaxing. I just hope I can get physically competitive again soon.

To be honest I have yet to seek an appraisal. I know the Palmer's Brass Barrel is a hot ticket,
Considering the little use it's seen, and the amount of cash I've dropped on it, I'd like to see at least a couple hundred for it.
I need to hit up A5OG.net and see what those guys say.
